Real Estate Super Star
I officially started my real estate journey 22 years ago when I bought my first home in Toronto’s East End. Coincidentally, that house was on Hollywood Crescent: you see, up until then, I’d only known a life of film, television, voice, work theater, musical theater, and stand-up comedy.
My next chapter was starting at a family (minus the settling down). While still working in the city and doing contract work in theater and television. I also volunteered, fundraised, dove deep into community building, and taught at Bowmore Public School which happened to be my two daughters’ primary school just around the corner from our home.
It’s at this point that I decided to give birth to something creative: east, and entertainment for all the local moms, something cheap & cheerful and within walking distance. I envisioned a night out of the house(!), heavy on laughter. So I started producing my comedy show “Time Out!”. That little idea turned into a 12-year long, always sold out show!
The drive, determination, problem-solving, and focus of doing all those tasks for the people I cared for helped me get through the next chapter: navigating divorce, and single motherhood with a side of co-parenting. So, I dove into this “new me” and focussed on my passion to help and support people by becoming a full-time real estate agent!
